Certification Exam: What to Expect

Youโ€™ve now completed the required training in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR & AED. This final stepโ€”the certification examโ€”will assess your understanding of key life support principles and your readiness to apply them in real-world situations.

Upon passing, youโ€™ll be eligible to receive an official certification card recognizing your completion of this program. Before starting the exam, please review the format and requirements below.

Exam Overview

  • 50 Questions โ€“ Multiple-choice and true/false, covering essential CPR and AED topics.
  • Randomized Questions โ€“ Every exam is unique.
  • 60-Minute Time Limit โ€“ Complete the exam within one hour.
  • All Questions Required โ€“ You must answer every question before submitting.
  • Immediate Feedback โ€“ Explanations provided for each response.
  • Passing Score: 75% โ€“ Required for certification.
  • Three Attempts โ€“ You have up to three consecutive tries before a review break.

What to Keep in Mind

  • Work Solo โ€“ No notes, no outside help. Trust yourself!
  • One Sitting โ€“ You cannot pause and return later.
  • Tech Check โ€“ Ensure a stable internet connection and a fully charged device.
  • Think Clearly โ€“ You can review and adjust answers before submitting.
  • Submit with Confidence โ€“ Finalize your exam when ready.

  • Passed? You are now eligible to purchase your official certification card.
  • Didnโ€™t pass? No worries! You have three consecutive attempts before a review break.
